CATLINK Scoop Robot Unboxing Guide
The CATLINK Scoop Robot Pro supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band WiFi. When setting it up, you don’t need to separate the bands manually. Just follow the instructions in the app and connect directly to your home WiFi.
CATLINK Scoop Robot Wi-Fi Setup Guide
Here are a few small but important tips to keep in mind.
If privacy matters to you, the app lets you control the two cameras individually. You can turn both off or just disable one as needed. This feature is only available to the primary account holder. If you’re accessing the device through a shared family account, some controls may be limited.
There are also plenty of other useful features in the CATLINK app, so feel free to explore and make the most of it.
The Scoop Robot Pro comes with two types of filter screens. If you purchased the version with the litter refill bin, the filters may not be pre-installed, so you’ll need to select and install the appropriate one yourself.
Each filter is designed for a specific type of litter. One is for mixed litter, and the other is for fine-grain clay litter such as bentonite. Using the wrong filter may result in incomplete waste separation or unnecessary disposal of clean litter.

CATLINL Scoop Robot Daily maintenance
Daily maintenance is often one of the biggest concerns for cat owners. The Scoop Robot Pro is a larger unit, so it comes with four built-in wheels at the base, making it easy to move around your home as needed.
Most automatic litter boxes place their weight sensors in the base. With this model, the entire weighing system is positioned beneath the globe, in the mid-lower section of the unit. This design helps prevent interference with the sensors when the unit is moved, and makes it easier to reposition for floor cleaning.
It also performs especially well in homes with low-pile carpet. The Scoop Robot Pro can be used on this type of flooring, as long as it is placed on a flat, level surface without any tilt.
Ideal for bigger cats
When it comes to cleaning, it’s important to know which parts can be removed and rinsed with water, and which should only be wiped with a damp cloth. After cleaning, make sure all components are completely air-dried before reassembling. This helps prevent litter from sticking or clumping improperly.
If you notice litter sticking to the litter mat, you can turn on Soft Stool Burial mode in the app under Cleaning Mode. This extends the cleaning interval to 15 minutes or even up to 30 minutes, giving the litter more time to fully clump and reducing buildup on the inner surface of the globe.
Fresh Air System Installation - Left/Right & Up/Down Sliding Doors
The Scoop Robot Pro fresh air system comes with three installation kit options, so you can choose the one that best fits your setup. The version shown here is the side or top window kit, which can be installed directly on a window or door frame. Once installed and powered on, the system will run automatically.

CATLINK Scoop Robot Litter Refill Bin Installation
When paired with the Litter Refill Bin, the Scoop Robot Pro enables automatic litter refilling. This is an optional accessory that can be purchased separately based on your needs.
Before installation, you will need a small tool to cut off the latch on the top cover of the unit. This step is also shown in the video. If the refill bin is not installed correctly or encounters an issue, you will receive a notification in the CATLINK app. It is recommended to test the auto-refill function before regular use to ensure everything is working properly.
CATLINK Scoop Robot Posture Correction Board Installation
The posture correction board is designed to guide cats that may start eliminating before fully entering the globe.
When your cat steps onto the board, the slight tilt and weight distribution naturally encourage them to move all the way inside and turn around before using the litter box. This helps keep waste off the step and prevents messes outside the unit.
The front fence is not removable. You can refer to the installation points shown in the video and follow the instructions to install the panel correctly.
CATLINK Scoop Robot Odor Eliminator Replacement
The Odor Eliminator for the Scoop Robot Pro is compatible with the Scooper SE, Scooper Open-X, and the entire Scoop Robot series. It is recommended to replace it every 30 days.
This component works by breaking down ammonia from your cat’s waste at the source, effectively reducing odors. Replacing it monthly ensures a more stable and consistent deodorizing performance. When purchasing replacements for the Scoop Robot Pro, make sure to choose the version without the holder.
